This apartment, which has recently been fully refurbished, is set in the heart of Alghero’s historical centre in one of the old district’s main streets, via Roma lined with coral shops and the boutiques of famous Algerian fashion designer Antonio Marras. The large windows (9 in total) look over two beautiful squares. The Barceloneta apartment is situated in a closed to traffic zone and can be reached on foot by parking the car outside the old town, only 50 m away.To stay in “Barceloneta” is a unique experience: on arrival guests are faced by an ancient stone column that develops into three semi arches at the top. No traffic noise only the buzz of people talking walking along the lively streets and the occasional horse and carriage taking tourists for a guided tour. The port is only 5 minutes away, from there you can catch the ferry to Neptune Grotto, a favourite tourist stop, or simply take a long walk along the seafront promenade that ends with the first town beaches. Barceloneta, fully refurbished, consists of three bedrooms all overlooking the squares, a large kitchen diner, two bathrooms, one with bathtub and the other with shower.
